Up to 5 layer film extrusion

Main Extruder: 1.25" barrel, choice of barrier or general purpose screw

Satellite Extruders (2): 1.0" barrel, choice of barrier or general purpose screw

Can be setup for most layer configurations

Water heating casting rolls can be set up for cast or nip feed

Online slitting capabilities down to 5.0"

Up to 50 mils in thickness based on material throughput

Material transfer system, blending, and drying available

Lamination stations can be used to mimic extrusion coating

Films can go on a 3.0" or 6.0" core

1.0" Killion extruder with a 6.0" die

All temperature zones can exceed 300 Celsius

With some modification, this machine now makes 1.5"-1.75" rodstock

Basic thermoforming is available via our Zed.  Three different deep draw cavities are installed.  Both vacuum and plug assist forming is available with radiant heating.

Our Mactec blister former has been heavily modified to form trays from 1.0" to 2.5" deep.  This is designed for contact heating.  Films with a 5.0 inch width can be formed here using air and plug assist depending on the tooling.  A heated plug assist is also available.
